Teachers Letter to Parents

Dear Parent or Guardian,

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work this year with your

child. I love teaching high school American History, because being
able to teach my students the importance of our great nation is
very fascinating and I cant wait to share this with them. This year
we will be starting off with how the colonists came over from
England and look closely at many of the details that led to the
birth of our country. We will then go through many of the pivotal
moments such as the Civil War, WWII, Watergate, the Berlin Wall,
and may more fascinating topics that occurred during the course
of history.

Students were given a syllabus which outlines the expectations of

the students, but also how coursework should be handled in this
class. A copy of the syllabus is attached to this email so you may
go over it with your child if you want.
