To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to recommend Skyler Wimer for a teaching position. Skyler is a conscientious

student and is truly dedicated to being the best teacher she can be. Skyler is an excellent model
of a student who works hard to accomplish all she can in every setting. I had her in a number of
classes and she approached all of her assignments with zeal and enthusiasm. She will be
dedicated to the students she will work for; she stood out as a leader in my courses here at
Lynchburg College. I recommend her to you without hesitation, giving her my highest praise.
She plans to make her classroom a creative one, and I can assure you she knows her stuff in the
area of reading, since that is my discipline and she was, as I said, truly accomplished in my
reading courses. I can assure you Skyler has great integrity and was a pleasure to work with,
exemplifying the ideals of Lynchburg Colleges Education School scholarship, service and
teaching. I served as Skylers advisor as well as her professor here at LC and she took the
initiative, something not all students do! Additionally, Skyler served as an officer in Kappa Delta
Pi, the National Education Honor Society this is no small honor, as you will know and it
takes a sacrifice of time as well as shows the work Skyler earned in her scholarship. I assure you,
all of the faculty members hold Skyler in high regard. I am happy to answer questions regarding
Skylers work here with me on the Lynchburg College campus. I give her my highest
recommendation as a fine representative of our learning community here and as someone who
would be an excellent teacher for the children of your school division.

Sincerely,
Jeri H. Watts, Ed.D.
