To Whom It May Concern,

It is with immense pleasure that I recommend Patricia Nghiem for a position working within your
company. I first met Tricia when she was a student in a course I teach at the University of Minnesota entitled
Introduction to Project Management. Tricia was an important addition to this course and showed immense
leadership skills as well as a clear understanding of many aspects of project management. Out of the numerous
students who I have taught, she is in the top 10% of those who show deep understanding of core concepts of
project management and show excellent work ethic in both individual and group work. She will undoubtedly be a
wonderful addition to your organization.

In my course, students learn about the numerous phases of a project and utilize several project
management tools to plan their own group projects. Throughout the semester, I was extremely impressed by how
passionate Tricia was about the process of managing a project- a passion that was evident with her well organized
final project in which she planned a mock wedding ceremony and reception that displayed her in-depth
understanding of wedding planning. This understanding very clearly derived from her time as a Marketing and
Public Relations Intern at Style Architects Weddings, and I was impressed with the ways in which she was able to
integrate her real life experience into this in-class project. Within this project, as well as during daily class time,
Tricia showed immense creativity and responsibility. She was diligent with her work, she communicated well with
both me and her peers, and she asked intelligent questions regarding the multiple components of planning a
project. Moreover, Tricia was the clear leader of her group and was respected and listened to by her peers: an
important part of team work in all settings. These traits are undoubtedly necessary not only as a project manager,
but in any position in the business sector or otherwise.

Outside of my course, Tricia also utilized her immense responsibility and strong work ethic as an
Ecommerce Marketing Specialist for Dakota Leashes, in which she was integral in creating the website and online
marketing plan for this up and coming small business, as well as in her role as a Human Resources Intern at
Genesis Group Home, in which she facilitated on-campus recruiting events to support this important program that
provides residential care to people with disabilities. It is clear through these positions that Tricia not only has a
diverse array of work experience, but also deeply cares about making a difference in her community. Additionally,
Tricias leadership abilities extend beyond my classroom with her role as President of Students Against Hunger,
her role of Finance Chair through Free Arts Minnesota, and her role as a New Member Coordinator at Pi Beta Phi
Fraternity. Moreover, Tricias extensive experience working at numerous companies in which she strengthened
her skills of coordination, collaboration, and evaluation exhibit the multitude of ways in which Tricias extensive
work experience and leadership experience will be essential for any position in the business, marketing, and
management sectors. These same skills and leadership will foreseeably only increase if Tricia has the opportunity
to work for an organization like your own.

Tricia displays countless qualities needed to play an important role in your company. She is responsible,
intelligent, hard-working, and demonstrates a great deal of passion for any role that she takes on. It is for these
reasons that I would strongly recommend you consider her for a position in your organization.

Sincerely,

Anna Kaiper
