    School: Kinchafoonee Primary School

    Subject: Math

    Lesson: Teach the students to know when to add or subtract.

    Standards Addressed: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.KOAA 2

    Objectives: I want the students to be able to know the difference between adding and subtracting
    just by looking at the problem.

    Materials Needed: Pencil, Paper, and Highlighters

    Outline: I will write problems on the board and the students will copy it down and look for the
    keyword add or subtract or the sign - or +

    Activity: The students will highlight the word that they may think is the key term.

    Assignment: Learning how to pick out the key term(s) and solve the problem.

    Evaluation: Make sure the students can find the keyword and make sure they can solve the math
    problems.
