FZ Forges de Zeebrugge, a 100% affiliate of French multinational Thales Group is technology and
innovation leader specialized in the field of air-to-ground 70mm rocket systems (2.75) in defence
market throughout the world.
With a history of innovation spanning more than 50 years, FZ designs, manufactures, integrates
and supplies state-of-the-art rocket systems 70mm (2.75 NATO Standard) and provides to its
customers a global service in its field of activity.

FZ supplies major NATO countries accounting for more than 50% of its turnover.
Currently, FZ is finalizing a completely new generation of laser guided rocket FZ275LGR (based on
SAL Semi-Active Laser technology)) closing the gap between low cost conventional rockets with
lower precision and more expensive missiles.

Rocket System 70mm (2.75) for rotary and fixed
wing aircraft composed of:
 Rocket (ammunition): different solid extruded
double based rocket motors (FZ90, FZ68, FZ67,
Mk4, Mk40) and different warheads (HE, inert,
Flash Signature, Flechette, Multidart)
Rocket launcher (in aluminum or composite): 7,
12 and 19-tube (H/C), 7 and 19-tube (A/C)
F  iring Control System: BHIR, GRMU, WMU/ACP

FZ systems are adapted on major fixed wings air-
craft such as e.g. BAE Hawk, F-5, F/A-18 Hornet,
F-16 Falcon and rotary wings aircraft (helicopters)
such as Airbus Helicopters (Tiger UHT, ARH and
HAD, EC725, Fennec, EC635, EC645 T2, AS532AL
Cougar, Panther AS565MB), Hindustan Aeronau-
tics Limited (ALH, LCH), AgustaWestland (A109,
EH101).

FZ global service includes aircraft integration

procedure, integrated logistic support, ballistic
calculations, safety analysis, training and techni-
cal assistance.
