MESSAGE FROM DEAN
NITIE has churned excellence in all domains of post
Graduate education ever since its inception and certainly, summer
placements for the class of 2017 were in line with rich tradition of the
yesteryears. As the placements for this year wrap up with a flourish, I am
overjoyed with the overwhelming reception for the students of NITIE by the
industry and also with inclusion of several new recruiters in the fold this year.
As an institute, NITIE has never compromised on its mission of knowledge led
productivity growth and the same has been upheld by the vast trust shown
by recruiters in this season of placements. The unwavering spirit and Prof. Ashok K. Pundir
continued endeavor of being a symbol of excellence has been the consistent Dean, Student Affairs,
reason for the institute being ranked among the leading Institutes of the NITIE Mumbai
country.
On behalf of the entire NITIE community, I would like to show my gratitude
to the recruitment partners for their participation and continued trust shown
in our faculty and future leaders of the country.
MESSAGE FROM PROFESSOR IN - CHARGE
As professor-in-charge of placements in NITIE, I am filled with immense pleasure
as yet another successful season of summer placements in NITIE for the class of
2017, comes to a close.
The summer placements for the class of 2017 was remarkable as NITIE saw a
diverse mix of companies spread across various domains and functions, offering
niche roles to the students. Yet again, NITIE remained the choice for recruiters for
Supply Chain and Operations role. However, other domains of management, be
Prof. Vivek Khanzode
it Finance or Marketing also made their presence felt in the placement report.
Professor In-charge,
This success couldnt have been achieved without the stellar performance of the Placements,
class of 2017 batch who lived up to the high standards of NITIE. I would also like NITIE Mumbai
to express my gratitude to our Honble Director and Dean, Student Affairs
for their unwavering support. My earnest thanks to all the recruiters who showed faith in NITIE as a
credible institution. Finally, appreciation is due to the student placement committee and all staff of the
Placement office who strived hard to achieve this feat.
