Deficiency Summary Worksheet: Use of Foreign Freight Vessel Examination Book:
This examination book is intended to be used as a job aid by Coast Guard

items. It is not, however, the Coast Guards intention to inspect all items

book are applicable to all vessels, Section 1 should be filled out in its
entirety at each examination and reexamination.
NOTE: Guidance on how to examine foreign freight vessels can be found
in MSM Volume II, Chapter D5: Procedures Applicable to Foreign Freight
