Impressions
Bartlett Impressions is an award
winning show choir located in Central
Massachusetts. Under the direction of
Peter Carney, Impressions is classified
as a small mixed show choir that
competes four times every year with
other local performances included. Each
year Impressions performs five songs
for their set, four of which are
choreographed and one is simply just
singing. Each set is critiqued by judges
that come from nation-wide who are well
-experienced. Impressions regularly
places at competitions and has been
known to receive awards for hospitality
and keeping the true meaning behind
show choir.

Unlike most other show choirs, Impressions
only meets regularly once a week. Each weekly as well as express myself.

Before any of this is possible, though, auditions
must be held. Auditions typically take place at
the conclusion of the show choir season, May,
and run over a three-day period. A segment of a
song is taught both vocally and chorographically
by the director and dance captains. The audition
itself then takes place in groups of four,
consisting of one person from each vocal part
(Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass). Typically 35
students are let into this competitive group and
work for the upcoming season begins from
