Wireless Transmission
Wireless power transfer (WPT), wireless power transmission, wireless energy transmission, or
electromagnetic power transfer is the transmission of electrical energy from a power source to an
electrical load, such as an electrical power grid or appliance, without the use of conductors like
wires or cables.

The basics of wireless power involves the transmission of energy from a transmitter to a
receiver via an oscillating magnetic field. To achieve this, Direct Current (DC) supplied by
a power source, is converted into high frequency Alternating Current (AC) by specially designed
electronics built into the transmitter.

This whole concept is derived from the experiments conducted by Nikola Tesla, He was a
Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist who
is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC)
electricity supply system.

In order seeking the necessity of wireless charging in this dynamic century we need to develop
the wireless charging concepts for day-to -day life and as well as for the medical and crucial
purposes.
