My passion for lifelong learning has led me to pursue a Masters of Education specializing in
Educational Leadership. The position of Assistant Principal will present me with the opportunity
to mentor and evaluate the teachers of and Washington County Public Schools to better the
instruction for all students. As a teacher, I have learned to develop strong professional
relationships and to constantly study learning theories to enhance the overall educational
experience for everyone involved in the learning process.

Through volunteer and community experiences, I have learned to manage my time to provide
ample time to complete all activities. Throughout my six years of teaching, I have experienced
the evolving and complex demands on the teacher in todays educational environment.
