Dear Families,

Thank you for letting us work with your children this semester. We are so excited for this
experience!

I am Alexandra Etsios. Im originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan , but have been in school at
The University of Dayton for three years. Besides getting practical experience with children by
being in the College of Education for three years I have also worked for four summers in
Grosse Pointe as a camp counselor. Outside of working with children some of my interests
include traveling, running and spending time with family and friends. My goal upon graduating
is to obtain a teaching position back in my home state of Michigan. I am working towards a
certification teaching children birth through third grade. I also am pursuing a 4th/5th grade
endorsement. This is the 6th semester of my training as a teacher. I have also had experience
teaching with children at the ages of six months to five years and enjoyed working with infants,
toddlers, preschool and elementary age children with and without special needs. I'm looking
forward to this unique learning opportunity in your child's classroom.

I am Nicole Shelley; I am majoring in Early Childhood Education at the University of Dayton. I

have my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Sinclair and have worked
closely with Sinclairs Early Learning Center, Immaculate Conception's Head Start program and
the Bombeck center at the University of Dayton. My passion is to make a dierence in young
minds so that they know they can achieve anything they set their minds too. I hope to gain
knowledge and experience while in Classroom I this semester so that when I graduate I will
achieve my goals to the fullest as an educator. I am excited to get to know your children and
thank you for the opportunity!

We will be working with the students in your child's class in various capacities both with small
and large groups in math, science, social studies, and language arts activities. We will be
conducting a few lessons with your child on seeds, due to their interest in plants and how
plants grow. We excited to work with your child this semester. Thank you for sharing your
students with us!

Thanks,
Alexandra Etsios
