c. Deleting materials (individually or batch) .5 Very impressed how well you spoke. Not a lot of umms. Very good

e. Correcting MARC records (.5) .5 Excellent explanation on what I think is a very confusing subject

a. Setting up for Student/Parent/Volunteer .5 I had never paid attention to the Access Levels page in Destiny.

b. Changing date & time (.5) .5 This is one of my favorite features! Perfect for book reports.
Your information was exactly spot on.
c. Entering fines, reserves, & messages for .5 We do not assess fines on a regular basis, so I learned a lot. I
patrons (.5) had been doing it a much more roundabout way.
d. Printing bills, fines, receipts (.5) .5 Very thorough explanation.
e. Using temporary barcodes (.5) .5 I asked my media specialist, and shes never used a temporary
barcode either.
f. Looking up circ logs (.5) .5 Succinct and complete. Well done!
What did you think of the assessment? (.5) .5 Worked properly. I used the same format. I like the way the
grading is easily discerned.

a. Backing up the system and rebuilding the .5 Ive never done this, but I was able to follow your thorough
system (.5) directions
b. Running circ reports (.5) .5 Good point to consider how many others would be using
Destiny at the same time you want to run reports! Ive never
thought about it.
c. Inventory (.5) .5 Good explanation of a dreaded job!
d. Collection age report (.5) .5 I tried this with my collection following your directions. Wow
is right. I was surprised how at the age of some of our books.
Very good directions. I agree that the age of a book varies on the
topic.
e. Bar codes/spine labels / unused bar code .5 I really like your pacing. It is very easy to type it in as you
report (.5) explain it. Good info on how to display barcode lists.
f. Running custom indexes (.5) .5 Thanks for the clear explanation of Destiny Quest. I havent
explored it much. I didnt know about the hold feature
What did you think of the assessment? (.5) .5 It was different than mine. I enjoyed it. I purposely chose both
incorrect and answers to see the response. I like how it shows
your wrong answer and what is the correct answer.
