    11 Ways to Look at Shadows

    1)Silhouettes dance gracefully


    To a melodic sound.
    Peace.

    2)Nonsense noises
    that send shivers down your spine.
    Fear.

    3)Hand puppets projected onto a tent;


    The aura of marshmallows
    Fill the outdoors.
    Warm.

    4)Goodnight kisses
    Before Dad turns off the light.
    Love.

    5)Scary movement in the closet,


    Though its only the wind shaking the door.
    Eerie.

    6)Cold air in the morning


    when the sun is burning hot;
    Windy but still warm.
    Break time.

    7)A hole in the midst of light.


    Darkness surrounded by sun.
    A spot.

    8)A hide away


    When tears roll down cheeks -
    A safe place -
    Hidden.

    9)A mirror image


    Looking up with innocent eyes.
    Young.

    10)A friend you just cant shake away,


    Copying every movement -
    Mocking.

    11)A warm blanket to hug;


    When someones arms are not available to fall into.
    Home.
