Josua Bell in My Maestro tell the story of his beautiful

relationship between him and his master teacher Josef Gingold. At the

age of 12 Bell had the opportunity to do his first solo recital where Josef

Gingold was convinced to attend. Gingold wasnt like music teachers;

he was a legend at Indiana university. Bells parents saw his

excitement and made the decision to ask Gingold to continue teaching

his son at their home. Gingold was mote then a teacher;he became for

Bell the grand father he never had. Bell had his first debut at the age

of 14 playing Mozarts and Gingold was so proud of him.
