When I entered the library I went directly to the TeenSpot staff offices to meet with Jennifer, my
practicum supervisor. She greeted me and took me on a tour of the Main Library. We visited
such places as the MakerSpace, the Popular Library, the Childrens Learning Center, the
Genealogy and Local History Department, and Materials Retrieval. We also toured staff-only
areas such as the librarys stacks. Jennifer informed me that I would be able to meet with the
librarian in charge of acquiring teen materials at a later point in my internshipthis librarian
does not work in TeenSpot but in the Cataloging and Processing Department.

Before the library opened at 1:00, Jennifer and I finalized my November schedule. After it
opened I met Mattie, the other TeenSpot employee present today, who is a part-time Senior
Library Services Assistant. Upon the librarys opening, Jennifer and I further discussed my
internship goals, and how I can work to achieve them (such as going on a school visit with a
librarian).

After opening, I spent two hours familiarizing myself with the layout of TeenSpot and some of
its patrons (many of the teens there today are regulars) and selecting some books that would
become my Staff Picks. I was introduced to some of the librarys security guards. I spent the
final two hours stationed at the departments reference/circulation desk helping as needed (with
issues such as computer usage and finding other departments within the library) while interacting
with TeenSpots regulars. At 5:00, I left the department with Jennifer and Mattie.

When I walked into the department, Renee (one of the departments full-time Senior Library
Services Assistants) was the only person there. I introduced myself and she welcomed me
aboard. Shortly after Jennifer arrived and she introduced me to another teen librarian, Megan,
who arrived soon after she did. I was quickly given the brief task of organizing a cluttered supply
drawer in the office. After completing that, Megan and I spoke about the upcoming Otaku Party
(one of TeenSpots quarterly programs) and decided that it would be a great opportunity for me
if I helped to create an Anime Jeopardy game for it. Unfortunately, the December Otaku Party
takes place on a day I will not be working practicum hours in the department. However, I
anticipate participating on a more active level for the March 2017 one.

Jennifer told me that she had scheduled me to create the January display shelf and I quickly
started brainstorming what I would like to do with itat the moment I am toying with a video
game-inspired concept, but that may change as I flesh out my idea more over time.
Later, Jennifer went to the Popular Library department to pull books in French and Spanish to go
to an English as a Second Language class at an area high school. We found 22 books that we felt
would be a good fit. I processed the books and emailed the teen librarian at the branch in
communication with the school to let her know I sent the books her way.

Lastly, Mattie and I helped Jennifer troubleshoot a cup coaster project for the upcoming Maker
Lab program. We painted white tiles with alcohol-based paint and applied different sealants to
them to see which would work the best. Before leaving for the day, I contacted the Computer
Services department to obtain access to TeenSpots shared computer drive.

When I arrived this afternoon I introduced myself to Sarah and Nikia, the TeenSpot employees
working today. Today I spent all four hours of my time working the reference desk with them. I
assisted with troubleshooting technology issues, providing directions to library departments,
answering questions regarding library policy, and helping resolve issues with library card
accounts.

In my downtime between assisting patrons, I brainstormed my January display. I have decided to

theme it based upon the indie video game Night in the Woods, which is set to release on January,
10th. I will showcase both horror and coming-of-age booksthese are themes that appear to be
highly prevalent within the game.

I also added the staff recommendations I selected last week to the staff recommendation file all
TeenSpot employees updated through the shared drive.

Today I started working on my categories for the upcoming Otaku Party Jeopardy game. Of the
six categories, I created and handled three with five questions each. Before I finished this task,
Megan had some time and taught Mattie and me how to add content to Teenspace (the teen
portion of PLCHs website). After learning what to do, I quickly approved a Vampire booklist a
teen had submitted and attached each entry to the related record in the librarys catalog. Megan
suggested that Mattie and I may be able to select featured books for the site, create a page for the
librarys annual Tech Week, and even write our own staff book reviews later on.

Once completing my training on Teenspace and my associated task, I finished crafting my

Jeopardy questions and emailed them to Jami (whom I have yet to meet), the librarian in charge
of this project. I also shared my questions with TeenSpots student shelvers, who will assist in
creating the final categories and questions.
Yesterday I received an email from Jennifer asking me to display the six winners and 24
honorable mentions of the librarys recent Teen Art Contest. Her email provided instructions of
how she wanted the display to be crafted, as she would not be here today to help. Following her
directions I successfully set up the display.

Before finishing my day working the reference desk, I brainstormed Harry Potter-themed
puzzles/clues for Megan to use in her Escape from Azkaban escape room program later this
week.

When I arrived at the library I took a moment to briefly explain to Jennifer my idea for my
January display. I told her that it is based upon an upcoming video game and will feature books
that appeal to teens, even if the game itself does not. The books I am considering fall into two
categories: coming of age and horror (these are two themes that appear to be prevalent in the
game). She approved of my concept. I expressed a desire to begin to plan some programs, and
she informed me that the Teen Advisory Board meets when I am here this coming Friday and
that would be an excellent time to bounce programing ideas off of the teens who will be
attending my events. I spent time today selecting more books for the display (my total count is
17).

I also helped Jennifer prepare the certificates for this weeks Teen Art Contest awards ceremony.
I compiled all the award documents and printed them out. Afterwards, I told Jennifer about what
I had worked on yesterday and finished typing up my ideas for the Escape from Azkaban
program, which I sent to Megan.

Other than that, I helped Mattie with her wedding project and spent some time on the desk
helping patrons.

When I arrived at TeenSpot today I immediately started to brainstorm ideas for programming I
could plan and implement. Thus far, I am strongly leaning toward throwing a Pokmon program
to correspond with the recent release of the series newest entries, Pokmon Sun and Pokmon
Moon. I would like to hold a battle tournament for the games, but realize not all who would be
attending may have access to them. As such, I would like to feature Pokmon papercrafts, trivia,
and other fun events I have yet to conceive. I hope to discuss this with Jennifer when we work
together next.

After spending some time on this, I met with Renee who briefed me on a project Jennifer set
aside for the two of us to complete: helping to compile a deposit collection for UC Langsam. My
part of this entailed identifying and pulling 100 works of older teen fiction from the TeenSpot
stacks. This entire process took roughly five hours to complete-- much longer than I had initially
anticipated!
I spent the final two hours of my shift today on TeenSpots reference desk. The first of these two
hours largely consisted of helping the librarys Official Teen Advisory Board (OTAB) hang
Christmas decorations around the department. Unfortunately, there was only one member of the
board present and he was not there long enough for me to discuss program ideas with him.
However, being on desk gave a further opportunity to learn more about TeenSpots regulars and
their interests. During the second hour, I answered reference questions, helped patrons locate
library materials, and provided library account assistance to all who asked for it.

The first thing I did when I came in today was send my December scheduling considerations to
Jennifer--due to the holidays there are days the library will be closed and days I would like off to
spend with my family and friends.

Shortly after that, I met Jami (the librarian in charge of the Anime Jeopardy for the upcoming
Otaku Party program) and we discussed my questions. One of the categories I worked on was
scrapped due to patrons lack of knowledge/interest in it, so I concocted a genre category that
was filled with questions about anime styles, which Jami said would work much better.
Afterwards, I fleshed out some more ideas for the Pokmon program I want to host. I am really
excited by what Ive thought up and cannot wait to discuss them with Jennifer! I also finished
selecting books for my upcoming display. My total count is 40: 20 coming of age novels and 20
horror books.

Finally, I finished the day by doing some clerical work for Sarah. She needed me to work on a
list of library cards for an incoming freshman class at a local high school. I found the card
numbers for those who were already within the system, and created teen-only library cards for
the students where applicable.

When I came in this morning, the first thing I did after checking in with Sarah was to brainstorm
ideas for this months Christmas Minute to Win It program. This is taking place on the 21st and I
will be here for it!

After that, I helped process in the U.C. collection that was returned when the college received the
one I helped compile for it last week. I was scheduled to help with a library Christmas program
at two oclock today and, since I had time after processing in the collection and helping with the
program, I worked with Sarah to think up hints for the library-wide, TeenSpot-based holiday
scavenger hunt going on this month. We thought up clues for the participants and ideas for where
the answers could be hidden within the building.

The Christmas program today ran from 2 to 4. I was in charge of the card making station, where
I helped all participants make Christmas cards. After the program, I returned to TeenSpot and
came up with more clues for the scavenger hunt and spent the final hour of my shift on the
reference desk.

Today when I walked in, Jami was speaking to a patron about his suggestion for a program--a
Roblox LAN party (Roblox is a website where users can create their own games and share them
for others to play). She immediately suggested that I run it on a Sunday. Since I have no
experience with LAN parties, she also suggested that Mattie help me put everything together
(Mattie has experience). She sent Jennifer an email to make sure this was all okay; if it is, the
program will be no sooner than mid-January.

After letting Mattie and I discuss the logistics of the program for a few moments, Jami asked me
to craft and put up a display advertising the remaining programming that TeenSpot is hosting this
month. I spent some time and got that display up and running.

Afterwards, I investigated Roblox to see what it would have to offer in terms of a LAN party.
There are quite a few competitive games, so I believe a tournament-style program would be best.
Ill ask the participants which games they most want to play during the party.

After that, I sent Megan my Minute to Win It ideas, started designing my book display for
January, and spent the remainder of my shift on the desk.

I pulled the books for the upcoming display Ive been planning today, as well as finished
designing the graphics for them (I hope). Jennifer and I discussed the monthly report she would
like me to send her at the end of December--she told me I should pull information from my daily
log.

Mattie and I discussed the LAN Party program we will be conducting (tentatively scheduled for
January 15th) and submitted the proposal for it to Jennifer, who promptly approved it.

I also emailed Megan to make sure that we are on the right track for the upcoming Minute to
Win It program, which is taking place this coming Wednesday. I hope to hear back from her
soon. If we need to, I am positive we can work out any kinks in it on Wednesday morning (the
next time I will be on site) before it begins.

Lastly, before finishing my shift on the desk, I helped Sarah plot a few more scavenger hunt
clues and design some of the graphics that will be utilized for the event.

The highlight of my shift today was, by far, the Minute to Win It Christmas program. In total, I
counted nine teens who participated (only seven of whom took part in the program at the same
time). After getting settled upon arrival this morning, Megan and I spent some time preparing the
games that would be played and getting all the materials ready to go. Later, in the afternoon, we
moved everything into TeenSpots meeting room and set it all up. At three oclock the event
kicked off and it was a blast--I had fun, Megan had fun, and, most importantly, the teens had fun.
It ran just over an hour and Megan and I had roughly thirty minutes of clean-up afterwards.

Apart from the program, I made copies for Jami (these were for the departments Dungeons and
Dragons program, which she normally runs but will be run by Megan for a stint--the copies were
ideas for her to keep players busy without significantly affecting the games campaign), helped
finish decorating the department for the holidays, and spoke with Jennifer about my schedule--I
realized that I am quickly approaching the halfway point of my internship and would like to cut
my hours back a little so I can be here to help with (and help plan!) some of the spring programs.
If my internship progresses at its current pace I will be unable to assist with these. Jennifer
agreed this was a good idea, but we decided to table really discussing it until after Christmas.

Overall, today was mainly a day to socialize with TeenSpots patrons through the program and
spending time at the desk.

December 30th, 2016 (Friday), 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. (with half-hour lunch break)

When I came in today, after greeting Sarah and Megan, I sat down and went over my schedule
and on-site hours and sent Jennifer (who wasnt in today) an email about adjusting my schedule
so that my time in TeenSpot lasts longer than mid-February. I also mentioned meeting with
Cindy (the librarian charged with acquiring teen materials), which I hope to do in February. I
hope that this email will allow us to briefly meet on common ground when we work together
next.

After that, I worked on setting up the book display I had created. I printed out the graphics I had
designed and pieced them together, changed the shelf location of all the books I had selected to
TeenSpots display space, and put it all together!

Today I also typed up and submitted a monthly report for Jennifer, at her request. This report
highlights what Ive done in the department this month and will assist her when she completes
her evaluation of me.

I finished my shift today on desk, but not before selecting what books to feature on Teenspaces
(the librarys teen-oriented webpage) New Books slideshow next month.

January 13th, 2016 (Friday), 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (with half-hour lunch break)

Today I finally got to help with a class visit! Between my arrival and 2:30 we had two separate
groups of students come into the department to conduct research for papers they are writing. I
helped explain how to browse the librarys catalog, helped illustrate how to access and utilize
some of the research databases to which the library subscribes, found books on the shelves that
were related to their research, and even helped these teens formulate search queries that were
relevant to their research topics. Megan and Renee led the two groups, individually, on tours of
the library and I tagged along and answered questions about library protocol, finding materials,
and library locations on each tour.

Aside from that, Jennifer and I worked to set a time to meet with Dr. Belinda Boon, my
internship advisor over Skype. We also discussed how my internship is progressing and what
more I would like to do. We are actively attempting to set up a meeting between Cindy (the
librarian tasked with acquiring teen materials for the whole PLCH system) and myself. Jennifer
also mentioned that I may seek to briefly meet with Jami to discuss material selection as well
(Jami is in charge of filling holes in TeenSpots collection) and perhaps suggest some purchases
for the departments graphic novel/manga section. I ran my Pokmon program idea by Jennifer
and she believes it would work well. I spent some time today fleshing out my ideas more and
will continue to do so until I submit my program proposal to her--we have tentatively scheduled
it for a Thursday in late-February.

I also briefly met with Mattie to discuss Sundays LAN Party and we seem all set for an
excellent program.

January 15th, 2016 (Sunday), 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Today was the Roblox LAN Party. When I came in, I worked with Mattie to finalize the design
of the bracket that our tournament would utilize. I also assisted her in setting up the desktop
computer she brought in to show to our participants--she made it herself and wanted to show the
departments patrons that such a thing is possible if they have desire to do so. She was available
all afternoon to talk about her computer and how it operates.

The event itself was scheduled to run from two to three oclock. Mattie and I spent the first hour
of the librarys business day (one oclock) setting up her computer and discussing with
participants to find out what games within Roblox they wanted to play competitively for the
program. The tournament ran a half an hour later than expected, but everyone was able to leave
with a granola bar and Android phone charger (our consolation prizes). The grand prize was a
mini drone that Jennifer purchased off of Amazon.com. In total we had eight participants.
Everyone had a great time and the teens want to have LAN parties more regularly!

After the party, I did some clerical work in the office, finalized and submitted my Pokmon
program proposal, and finished my day on desk with Megan and Mattie.

Today was a brief day, but I was able to get some work completed for my upcoming Pokmon
program! Between last Sunday and today, Jennifer and I engaged in short email communications
about my program and my meeting with Cindy. We decided that the Pokmon program would be
great to have on the day of the meeting--which is tentatively scheduled for February 23rd.
Jennifer suggested some emendations to my proposal, but approved my idea!

Today I designed a TeenSpot Gym Badge (which will be given to event participants) and created
materials for some of the trivia challenges the event will entail. Before leaving, I visited the
TeenSpot and Childrens Learning Center stacks to pull books for a patron Mattie was assisting
on desk. I also emailed Jennifer (who is away at the ALA conference) to touch base and show
her what I accomplished today.

January 27th, 2016 (Friday), 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (with half-hour lunch break)
Hours Completed: 7.5
Accumulated On-Site Hours: 96.25

When I came in today I immediately began to further complete the work necessary for the
Pokmon event Im planning. The main challenge I tackled today was finding Pokmon
papercrafts for participants to build. Throughout the course of the day I found three that I believe
suit my purposes well. I put the crafts together myself to ensure that they could be completed.
While I do not believe that event participants will be able to make all three during the brief span
of program, they will definitely all be able to put together one. Each papercraft has a different
difficulty level, so participants with experience can choose to build the more challenging of the
three, while novices will be able to make the simplest without much difficulty.

Another big thing I accomplished today was a successful meeting my Dr. Boon. After some
technical errors, Jennifer and I were able to join her via Skype. The three of us discussed my
internship thus far (what I have already accomplished), what is next on the slate for me (how I
will meet my remaining objectives), and ideas for ways to further my practical knowledge during
my time in TeenSpot. Dr. Boon recommend that I investigate some professional publications to
learn more about the field of Teen Librarianship and Jennifer has promised to provide me with
some issues of Young Adult Library Services. Overall, we each confirmed that I am on track
towards the successful completion of my C.E.!

After our meeting I met briefly with Jami and Sarah individually. With Jami I discussed a project
with which I am helping her: the manga acquisition mentioned previously. At first I was merely
looking for holes to fill in the collection (missing volumes of series), but, after speaking with Dr.
Boon, Jennifer thought I should also make suggestions for new series the department should
acquire. Jami agreed, so when Im here next Ill begin to tackle that.

Sarah and I discussed TeenSpots volunteers (Sarah is in charge of selecting volunteers and
assigning them tasks). She gave me a short description of what she does, but mentioned that she
desired to revamp the process. I hope I can help her do this or shadow her as she goes about
redesigning the departments volunteer structure!

Before leaving for the day, I spent some time on the desk answering questions, helping patrons,
and interacting with the teens visiting today.
February 18th, 2016 (Saturday), 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (with half-hour lunch break)

Between the last time I was here and today, I was sick for my scheduled shift so I had to sit it
out. I did get some work done from home, though! I designed the Pokmon trivia game well be
using for the event. Its a jeopardy-style game about characters from the syndicated anime series
that accompanies the franchises games. I sent it to Jennifer and she seemed pleased!

Also between then and now, Jami emailed me to see if Id be interested in writing a segment on
my internship for PLCHs Teen Services Newsletter. After greeting everyone upon my arrival
today, that is the first thing I worked on. I sent it to Jami, and she approved it and asked that I
send her pictures of my Pokmon program to accompany my writing.

I spent some time reading through the publications Jennifer left for me (Young Adult Library
Services, School Library Journal, and Voice of Youth Advocates) and happened across some very
interesting articles! Among these were programming ideas to help teens prepare for college
(concepts included dealt more with sharing a room with someone else and proper eating habits
than study techniques), the difference between YA literature and juvenile and adult literature,
and how to better assist teenage patrons with mental illness (through the offered library
collection or face-to-face communication). There are still more issues of these publications for
me to read, and I look forward to diving into them soon!

At around noon Mattie went home sick, so I offered to take over her desk shifts. From 1 to 2 and
3 to 5 I was on the floor, helping teens and other patrons with whatever they needed. During my
downtime on the desk, I continued to peruse the publications left by Jennifer. I also spent this
downtime investigating manga for my project with Jami--she told me to go ahead and find
recommendations for entirely new manga series to be added to the collection. I have a few
compiled in a Word document and Im hoping to add to it over the coming weeks.

Overall, it was a fun day! I spent some quality time on the desk assisting patrons and worked on
projects I needed to get done in the background.

February 19th, 2016 (Sunday), 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Hours Completed: 4.00
Accumulated On-Site Hours: 108.25

Today was another day for me to work on projects. In my short four hours in TeenSpot today, I
added some more manga to my list of recommendations Im compiling for Jami. She stopped by
briefly and we discussed what I had done so far, and where she would like me to go from there. I
have twenty-one different manga listed and I do not believe I will add any more. Now, per her
instructions, I will provide a description of each mangas plot/themes and why I feel each would
be a good fit for TeenSpots collection. I hope to put more work into this project and finish it in
the coming weeks.

I also spent some time on the desk today with Sarah and Mattie. Although the computer area of
the department was full of teens, it was a fairly quiet day. When not helping patrons on desk, I
read through more of the journals Jennifer left for me. Highlights of todays readings include: a
call for teen librarians to provide information to and acceptance of LGBTQ+ youth and the
importance of building relationships with teens who are not regular library patrons (in this way
librarians can further showcase library offerings to new patrons).

After settling in today Sarah took me to my meeting with Cindy, the librarian tasked with
acquiring teen materials for the entire PLCH system. She walked me through her typical day
here, which includes everything from reading book reviews and replying to emails from
librarians about the collection to ordering books (while keeping careful track of her budget) and
crafting blurbs about new books for the librarys homepage. Our meeting lasted roughly and
hour and twenty minutes, but I got to see the practical application of what I learned in my KSU
courses and I had a great time learning from Cindy.

Today was also the day of my Pokmon program! After my morning meeting I worked on my
manga list for Jami a little more. Once Jennifer returned from the meeting she was in this
morning, I set aside the manga list and shifted into Pokmon mode. I prepared the papercrafts
and printed trivia lists. Jennifer brought in the cupcakes and fixings. The program started at 4
p.m.

In total, we had eighteen participants throughout the course of the party! We started with the
jeopardy game I created then moved onto the papercrafts before finishing with the PokBall
cupcakes. The event ran until 5:30, so it was a little longer than Jennifer and I had anticipated,
and there were some activities that we did not get to do, but the kids all loved it! I did an
informal verbal survey to gage their level of satisfaction, which was overwhelmingly positive.
All participants expressed interest in a similar program in the future, and a few even suggested
that TeenSpot focus on the anime series Naruto for the next one.

After the program I helped clean up and spent the last few minutes of my day assisting on the
desk.

I spent all four hours at TeenSpot today on desk. Jami could not make it in today so only Nikia
and I were there. As such, I didnt get much work done on my assigned manga project and I
really hope to delve into it during my next few shifts here!

I did get a lot of experience helping teenage patrons today, though.

Today was a blur! I spent my first half an hour today on the desk, catching up with emails. After
that I spent time on Jamis manga project (almost done!) and ate lunch. At 4 p.m. I sat in on
OTAB (Original Teen Advisory Board) with Jennifer. We had roughly five teens for this event.
The main objective of the meeting was to ascertain what kinds of programming the departments
patrons would like to see, both in general and for this summers Summer Reading event. The
teens had some great suggestions and it seems like we can alter my Pokmon Party assets for
some of their ideas.

After that, I worked on the manga project a little more before helping to set up for tonights
Otaku Party. In total, 30 teens attended this after-hours event! I helped set up for the program
and spent my time on the floor during its two-hour length interacting with teens and helping out
at various stations as neededwe had a Just Dance! video game tournament, a pizza dispensing
station, a community member teaching participants Korean, and a ramune (a soda-esque drink)
station.

I started today with an outreach event at UCs Science and Engineering Expo. Renee, Nikia, and
I were there for four hours promoting the library and its offerings to anyone and everyone we
could! We held a raffle to give away books (the raffle had 46 entrants) and handed out library
swag. It was a lot of fun and I got to speak to a lot of people. Renee told me that, during such
events, she likes to visit neighboring booths to get ideas for programs and presenters TeenSpot
could host.

After the Expo, I returned to TeenSpot to complete work on my manga project for Jami.

March 18th, 2016 (Saturday), 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (with half-hour lunch break)
Hours Completed: 8.0

Today I spent my first hour of time in TeenSpot on the desk, getting caught up with my
TeenSpot email (not much was there, but there was news about the department shifting to a fully
mobile service model) and helping patrons as needed. Afterwards, I emailed Jami my manga
recommendation list to get her thoughts on it. I had initially planned to speak with her about it in
person today but she had an emergency and may be away from the department for the rest of my
internship.

Next, I met with Jennifer to discuss the end of my time in TeenSpot because my next time here
will be the last shift of my internship. We discussed what still needs to be done (namely a
booklist and a review for the librarys teen webpage) and the steps we will each take after my
final shift here (portfolio and evaluation for me, narrative and evaluation for her).

Afterwards, I completed compiling my booklist, which is spring themed, and sent it to Jennifer
and Megan for approval/suggestions. I also emailed Sarah, who is in charge of the departments
teen volunteers, for information on what that entails and how she selects the volunteers who
work in TeenSpot. After doing that, I spent my final hour of the day on the desk.
March 24th, 2016 (Friday), 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Hours Completed: 8.00
Accumulated On-Site Hours: Over 150!

The last day of my internship! When I came in, I spent my first half-hour covering for Jennifer
and Megan on desk while they had a meeting to discuss TeenSpots conversion from a desk-
based service model to a fully mobile one. A school group was in this morning (including during
my desk time) but all the students were very self-sufficient. I did answer a few reference
questions posed by patrons visiting the department who were not part of the school group.

Afterwards, I went to the office to put my Spring Fever booklist (which has both Jennifers and
Megans seal of approval) onto PLCHs Teenspace website. It will be featured from mid-April
through May! I next set to work writing a user poll and a staff book review of David Arnolds
Mosquitoland and successfully posted those to Teenspace as well.

Between last Saturday and today, Sarah had replied to my email concerning questions about teen
volunteers. She provided in-depth responses to my queries and really helped me to understand
TeenSpots (and PLCHs) volunteers!

I next helped Megan gather materials for her open art program today (with which I helped) and
met with Jennifer to talk about how she will share her evaluation with me. We will unfortunately
not be able to do this during my actual internship hours, but I will be briefly returning to the
department in early April to learn her thoughts on my time here.

The program I helped Megan with was a lot of fun! It was an art program where we provided
miscellaneous supplies and attendees created whatever they wanted. We had 10 participants in
total.

Megan left at five oclock. When she did, I cleaned up and sent an email to Jami (who is still out)
asking her to send me her thoughts on my manga list when she is able. While I will not be an
intern anymore when she returns, I would still like to know if my suggestions were good and
how they could be improved.

I spent the final little bit of my internship on the desk, helping patrons.
