2017 SPONSORSHIP PLAN

 Introduction

The Cedar Bend Humane Society, was founded in 1910. In 2009, a new adoption
center because of community support and donations. Without the support of
organizations and businesses in the Cedar Valley, we would not not be able to place
thousands of animals into new adoptive homes and returns hundreds of lost pets to
their owners every year. Every donation that we receive goes to helping with medical
needs, care, and shelter for every animal we encounter. We rely solely on private
donations for all that we do. Since we are not affiliated with any agency or organization,
and rely solely on private donations for everything we do. Your donations and
sponsorships help us uphold our mission in the Cedar Valley community.

Event Details

The 8th annual Cedar Bend Humane Society Furry 5K Run/Walk will be Sunday, May 7,
2017 at 7:30 a.m. at Big Woods Lake, Cedar Falls, Iowa.

You can bring your own dog or walk a shelter dog. The registration cost of $25 includes
a t-shirt and tote bag.

T-shirts and tote bags are guaranteed to those registered by April 30. Registration after
April 30th increases to $30 and a t-shirt is not guaranteed.

There will be a contest for the best dog tricks. Impress the judges and win a prize.
Awards ceremony at approximately 8:30 a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCES
The Cedar Bend Humane Societys Furry 5k targets audiences that are composed of:
 families with children,
adults ages 18- 50 years old,
as well as animal lovers of all kind.

BENEFITS TO SPONSORS
Opportunity to associate business with a local non-profit organization
within the Cedar Valley
Opportunity to publicize organization while networking with Cedar Valley
residents.
Opportunity to provide product placement as well as make merchandise
available for purchase for participants at individualized tables placed at the finish
line.
Top level sponsors will have one representative placed on judge panel for
the best dog trick. Judges will be allowed to present information about their
organization prior to the awards ceremony.

LOGO AND NAME APPEARANCE AND PLACEMENT

Sponsors name and Logo will appear on Cedar Bend Humane Society
website. Top Level sponsors will be combined with direct links to their
organization's website.
Sponsors name and logo will be placed on vertical banners at starting line
of the race. Size of logo will depend on sponsorship level contributions.
Name and Logo of all sponsors will appear on all printed materials,
including but not limited to event programs, flyers, and all signage.
Sponsors will be featured on social media platforms with direct links to
their website.
