1. Tower & Accessories

Check all fittings against relevant Drawing and B.O.M. / Parts List
i. All bolt and pin sizes are correct.

ii. All nuts, split pins face inwards or as per the Clients Engineers
instructions.

iii. Nuts, locknuts, washers and split pins are fitted appropriately.

iv. Tower earthing has been installed as per approved drawing.

v. Anti Climbing Device is fixed appropriately.

vi. Step bolts below anti climbing device level have been removed.

vii. Danger / Warning Plate has been fixed properly & securely.

viii. Tower Identification Plate has been fixed properly & securely.

ix. Circuit Identification Plates have been fixed at appropriate

locations.

x. Phase Identification Plates have been fixed at appropriate

locations.

2. Insulators & Hardwares

i. Insulator Strings are vertical.

ii. Insulator security pins are fitted and in good condition.

iii. Yoke plate is correctly fitted.

iv. Arcing horns fitted are appropriate

v. All bolts / nuts in the insulator hardwares are confirming with the
approved drawings.

vi. All nuts in the insulator hardwares are tightened to manufacturer

recommended torque.

vii. No signs of cracking on the keeper of conductor clamp.

3. Conductor Hardwares & Fittings

Check that all hardwares / fittings are installed / fitted in appropriate manner and are
in good condition

i. Vibration Dampers have been installed appropriately and are in

good condition.

ii. Spacer Dampers have been fitted at appropriate / recommended

spacing.

iii. Clearance Available from live parts to Tower parts are

Satisfactory.

4. OPGW Hardwares & Accessories (In The Span Ahead)

Check that all hardwares / accessories are installed in proper manner and are in
good condition.

i. OPGW Suspension Fitting has been fitted appropriately.

ii. Vibration Dampers have been installed appropriately and are in

good condition.

iii. OPGW properly bonded to tower.

iv. Aircraft Warning Spheres have been installed as per approved

schedule.
