where they become an FII, there are jobs waiting on them.

My job fair challenged me a lot. I learned how to communicate in professional emails with my

when you started the project? Explain the reason behind any changes from your proposal.
The picture I was basically the same as it had turned out. I had the same amount of volunteers
as I planned and my fair theme came to life. I was very proud of the turnout and everything ran
smoothly than I imagined.

8. If given the opportunity, explain what you would have done differently
now that you speak from experience?
I would have advertised a lot more and had backup employers just in case someone didn't show
up. I had to hustle a get another employer the day before because Five Below dropped out.

9. Beyond the project itself, what did you learn about yourself?
I learned that I can bring people together for a good cause and that hard work pays off. It took many
many phone calls to lock down employees and to get a venue.

10. What grade would you give yourself on the project? Justify the evaluation
of your grade in at least 25 words.

Grade: 95

Justification: I spent weeks in communication with employers, working with their schedules and
trying to accommodate them the day of my event. With the help of my volunteers and my
consultant I made the event run smoothly. I incorporated many volunteers and people were able to
fill out job applications on spot and that was a huge achievement. My job fair brought awareness to
the fact that formerly incarcerated individuals do need jobs and how beneficial it would be if they
did. Many of the employers that were there people didnt know they hired FIIs but now they do
and I was able to educate people on this the day of my event.
