This past JulyIwasfortunate enoughtoattenda remote viewingworkshopput

onbyEdDamesinReno,Nevada.

IhadreadabitaboutremoteviewingonlineandthefilmTheMenWhoStareAt
Goats piqued my interest even though I assumed that the story had suffered
fromtheusualHollywooddistortions.

The workshop was aimed at those who wished to become professional remote
viewers. Considering that I had only skimmed through the 4 DVD Beginners
course I was less informed than the rest of the attendees, but thankfully Eds
assistantBrenttooksomeofthelessexperiencedamongusofftothesidetoget
usuptospeed.BytheendofthefirstdaywewereallabletolearnfromEdand
itwasinterestingtosaytheleast.Tolearnmoreaboutremoteviewingyoumay

One of the things that arrested my attention regarding the remote viewing
processistheideogram.Theideogramasitcorrespondstoremoteviewingis
definedas:

the spontaneous graphic representation of the major gestalt, manifested by

the motion of the viewer's pen on paper, which motion is produced by the
impingementofthesignallineontheautonomicnervoussystemandthereflexive
transmissionoftheresultantnervousenergytothemusclesoftheviewer'shand
andarm.Theobjectifiedideogramhasno"scale;"thatis,thesizeoftheideogram
relative to the paper seems to have no relevance to the actual size of any
componentatthesite.

Inotherwords:inremoteviewingonceyouaretoldwhattheobjectiveis,you
writeyourideogramonthesheetofpaperquickly,withoutconsciousthought.

ThissimpleprocessiscloselyrelatedtoamethodIreadaboutpreviouslyina
bookthatwasallegedlycapturedfromNapoleonin1813.

In 1813 Napoleon was defeated at Leipzip. However he left behind him a

"CabinetofCuriosities"amongwhichaPrussianofficerdiscoveredthefollowing
Oraculum. Originally this Oraculum had been discovered in one of the Royal
tombsofEgyptduringaFrenchmilitaryexpeditionof1801.Theemperorordered
the manuscript to be translated by a famous German scholar and antiquarian.
From that time onwards the Oraculum remained one of Napoleon's most
treasures possessions. Heconsulted it onmany occasions and itissaid to have
"formedastimulustohismostspeculativeandmostsuccessfulenterprises."

The first step in consulting this Oraculum bears a strong resemblance to

constructing the ideogram in remote viewing sessions. Instead of scrawling an
ideogram, you write a series of lines or asterisks without thinking consciously
abouthowmanyyouarewriting:
