To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter to recommend Trinity Valencia. I have known Trinity for a year as her AP Biology teacher
and as the sponsor of Biology Club in which she was actively involved. She is a dedicated and hardworking
student with a weighted cumulative GPA of 4.603. In Biology Club she was active in community service
projects like volunteering at Red Skye Rescue which is a no kill dog shelter. She was also involved in our
CAPS for benches project in which we collected and sorted caps and lids to make benches for our school and
community. Another project in biology club she actively participated in was our bat box project. We built bat
boxes to hang up around our community to increase housing for our bat population in Jackson County. Bat
populations here have decreased by over half and by providing bat boxes we hope to help stop the decrease.
She is involved in National Honor Society and has volunteered at Above and Beyond Daycare, Schneck
Hospital, The Alley, Anchor House, Football concessions, Basketball concessions, Archery concessions and
at one of our elementary schools Fall Festival.

Trinity is also involved in our Archery team here at SHS. The team just qualified for the Global competition in
June! She is in the most advanced concert band (wind ensemble) and she did this feat even though she
started playing the trombone as a sophomore. As you can see, Trinity is a hardworking and exemplary student
who stays involved in her community. She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to jump in and
help others. I know she will meet all the goals she sets for herself. I have no reservations in my
recommendation of her.

Sincerely,

Paula Weaver
