PROJECT TITLE :
Film Condensation Phenomena on Oxygen Wall.

ABSTRACT

Energy plays a vital role in development of any country. Electrical energy is a form of
derived energy from the preliminary energy sources such as coal, gas, diesel etc. Human
beings are accustomed to stay in comfort conditions by using electrical appliances such as air
coolers and air conditioning systems. These appliances consume lot of electricity and also
emit carbon gases into atmosphere directly and indirectly. So, aiming at providing comfort
living conditions, avoiding / reducing the electricity consumption, reducing the related
expenses, reducing the emissions and promoting the green environment, the following project
would be carried out.

This project mainly focuses on the study of film condensation process of oxygen gas
releasing into the atmosphere from the green plants that grows on the living wall. The thermal
parameters such as temperature and the relative humidity are tested and their effect on
condensation time is analysed. In the start-up stage the impact of psychometric properties in
the room are analysed using numerical method and how they are affecting the room
condition. The objective of this study is to enhance the room living conditions by employing
the natural characteristics of green plants which are covered on walls.

Keywords: Film condensation, Psychometry.
