    Steps to generate a cer file from a pfx file.

    1. Install the .pfx file

    Open the PFX file to start the certificate import wizard

    The Certificate Import Wizard will guide us through the process of importing PFX file.
    2. Run certmgr.msc and export the certificate file

    Navigate to Start Menu and type certmgr.msc

    Select the certificate and click for export


    This opens Certificate Export Wizard that will export CER file for the given certificate.
