degree in physical education)
Talked to Steve Peck (Varsity girls former
soccer coach)
Talked to Janet Gay
Online P.E.
Todd spoke about online P.E. and sent us
to see Ms. Gay

Step 4: The Research
Researched other schools and their
policies

Many schools to an alternative P.E. credit


system to get credit for sports
Step 5: Talk to the P.E. teachers
Talked to the P.E. teachers and got their
input.

They did not support the idea.


Step 6: Talk to Ms. Knisley
Talked to Ms. Knisley who supported the
idea
She helped us get on the schedule to
speak to the policy board about our
project and goals
Step 7: The Policy Board
The policy board supported the idea and
asked us to assist Ms. Knisley in writing
the new policy.
The policy board then passed the newly
written policy onto the school board for
the vote.
Step 8: The Board
Wednesday June 3rd
Passed as written
Will be in the handbook for the 2016
school year

Responsibility- students will be responsible
for sport and attendence
