Elks Lodge Coat X X X I helped host a winter coat drive for

Giveaway struggling families. I assisted children in
finding the appropriate coat size and then
recorded their name, grade, and size to
know which sizes to restock. (9 hrs)
Angel Tree X X X X Provide Christmas presents to families in
need. I organized donated gifts, shopped
for additional presents and cleaning
supplies, and assembled and packaged
kits. (32 hrs)

Family Promise X X Supervise up to four families in transition to

housing, guide them around facilities,
serve dinner, and entertain children. I
stayed overnight to ensure things ran
smoothly. (36 hrs)

Discipleship-Now X Prepare, cook, and serve meals for 54

students and staff spending the weekend
at the facilities. I cleaned up and did dishes
after they finished eating. (17.5 hrs)

OHSU ThinkFirst X Set up educational activities and games

Oregon and spoke regarding the necessities of
brain and spinal cord injury prevention. (5
hrs)

Soccer Camp X This camp was open to the community for

Counselor girls ages seven to thirteen. I coached a
team of nine girls for a week and led the
dribbling station where I prepared games
to improve ball handling skills. (16 hrs)

Tide Crew Leader X After receiving training over the summer I

encouraged community through games
and guided a tour for my group of ten
freshmen to learn more about each other
as well as their new school. (11 hrs)

Vision Screenings X Operated a machine that takes pictures to

determine any abnormalities with a childs
eyes. If there were, parents were referred
to an eye clinic. (3 hrs)

Hearing X Adjusted headphones to the

Screenings appropriate size to fit each child so
professionals could efficiently
administer the hearing test. (3.5
hrs)
Blood Drives X
Distribute flyers flyers for the Bloodworks
Northwest blood drive. Assist with Red
Cross and Bloodworks Northwest by
watching donors for symptoms associated
with giving blood and provide them with
food and drinks. (8.5 hrs)
