List of Materials:
Spiral bound drawing pad 9x12-18x24

White paper or newsprint paper (less expensive) (some of my favorite paper brands are Canson and
Strathmore).

Rigid drawing board to support larger drawing pad

Clips to hold the paper in place

Smaller portable sketchbook (6x8- 8x10)

Pencil sharpener or Exacto blade

Graphite pencils: HB, 2B and 4B (some of my favorite pencil brands are Derwent and Faber Castell)

Erasers: Kneaded or white plastic.

Pencil holder (a zip-case or cigar box)

Plumb Line (a simple weight tied to a string)
