INT. TEMPUS ITINERANTUR TESTING FACILITY - WAITING ROOM -
AFTERNOON - 2027
The waiting room is completely empty apart from some chairs
and posters about a time travel programme. ABI is sat in the
middle of the row of chairs. ABI is on her phone looking at
a FACEBOOK MEMORIAL PAGE about a girl named CHRISTINA who
committed suicide in 2017 because of her mental health. Abi
then starts to stroke a BRACELET as she is looking at the
memorial page. She then snaps back into reality when a
RESEARCHER calls for her to come into one of the rooms to
begin the TIME TRAVEL TRIALS.
RESEARCHER
Abi Fletcher?
ABI puts away her phone quickly and gets up from the waiting
room chair and walks into the room with the nurse.
CUT TO
INT. TEMPUS ITINERANTUR TESTING FACILITY - TESTING ROOM -
AFTERNOON - 2027

ABI is sat on a chair in the testing room. THE RESEARCHER is

strapping a TIME TRAVEL DEVICE onto ABIs wrist.
RESEARCHER
So, Im going to send you back an
hour into the past.
The research then puts in the time, date and location into
the device.

RESEARCHER
You will be transported next door,
where you will explain in detail to
the other tester, the time you were
sent back, which room and your
experience of the event.

ABI begins to panic.

RESEARCHER
Whats wrong?

ABI 2027
I left my purse in the waiting
room, can you please get it for me.
RESEARCHER
Its perfectly safe out there.

ABI 2027
No, please. It has personal pictures in there of my family.
Theyre the only pictures I have left of my family.
ABI starts to cry, while THE RESEARCHER has no idea what to
do.
RESEARCHER
Please dont cry, Ill...Ill go
and get it for you.

ABI 2027
Thank you! Thank you, so much.
THE RESEARCHER leaves the room, but as soon as he leaves the
room ABI jumps out of the chair and locks the door. THE
RESEARCHER then starts to bang on the door.
RESEARCHER
OPEN THIS DOOR IMMEDIATELY!
ABI pulls out a tool from her sock and starts to play around
with THE TIME TRAVEL DEVICE. ABI gets into the device and
she sets the time, date and location (25/08/2017 at 2:40
with the location being 5 The Maltings, Portway, The
Kingshead Town, Wiltshire, UK)
She then presses the button on THE DEVICE and gets zapped
back into time.
FADE TO
INT. CHRISTINAS HOUSE - AFTERNOON - 2017

Abi is inside CHRISTINAS HOUSE, she runs up the stairs, but

once she is outside CHRISTINAS room ABI doesnt know what
to do. She just freezes. Abi just stands there not knowing
what to do. Shes listening to CHRISTINA crying. The door is
open just a crack and shes looking at her cousin still
alive.
Shes looking at her cousin/best friend writing the suicide
note while crying and listening to depressing music. ABI is
still frozen looking into the bedroom.

Christina stops writing for a moment and starts to stroke a

bracelet while still crying. ABI then looks at her own
bracelet which is the bracelet her cousin is stroking. ABI
then lets out a small tear. Still not knowing what to do,
until the TIME TRAVEL DEVICE beeps once. Telling ABI that
her time is running out. Knowing that ABI bursts through the
door.

INT. CHRISTINAS HOUSE - BEDROOM - AFTERNOON - 2017

Once ABI bursts through the door, CHRISTINA jumps out of her
seat. They both just stare at each other, not knowing what
to say. They just stand there for a few seconds, not saying
a word until CHRISTINA says in a panic:

CHRISTINA
WHO ARE YOU!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING
HERE!?

ABI
Chri...
CHRISTINA
WHO ARE YOU!? GET OUT!

Christina gets more scared and panicked, while Christina is

getting more upset not knowing what to do.
ABI
Please its...

CHRISTINA
GET OUT! LEAVE ME ALONE!
ABI is feeling angrier, but also getting more scared and
panicked herself.

ABI
LOOK ITS ME ABI!
CHRISTINA
NO, YOURE NOT!

ABI
LOOK, JUST LOOK AT THIS!
ABI shows Christina the bracelet, Christina then looks her
bracelet and says:

CHRISTINA
So, what we have the same bracelet.
ABI
No Christina, I got this Bracelet
from you when we were back in
primary school. We made these to
show our friendship. There special
to us.

CHRISTINA
How do you know that?
ABI starts to get more upset.
ABI
Because Im Abi from the future.
Please trust me, Im from the year
2027, I came back to save you from
what youre about to do.

CHRISTINA
Tell me something else. Something
only you would know.
ABI
When we were 8, we use to go out
every night into the fields when we
lived in Stockholm village. We use
to play in those fields for hours.
CHRISTINA
We use to pull pranks on your
brother as well.
They both start to laugh
ABI
Yeah, we did.

Theres a slight pause for a few moments, then CHRISTINA

says:
CHRISTINA
Am I missed?
ABI
Yes! Youre missed by so many, we
love you Christina and you mean the
world to us. Please dont do it.

The beeping gets faster. ABI starts to panic.

ABI
Please, I havent got much time. I
just wanted to say, I love...

Before ABI could finish what she was about to say, she is
zapped back into the present (2027). CHRISTINA is left in an
empty room, tears still going down her face, not knowing
what has just happened.

INT. TEMPUS ITINERANTUR TESTING FACILITY - TESTING ROOM -

AFTERNOON - 2027
ABI 2027 is back at the testing facility, she has tears
streaming down her face, but shes so happy. The guards
burst through the door and apprehend ABI and take her away.

INT. PRISON CELL - EVENING - 2027

ABI is still really happy, but curious to know if her
friends still alive.

ABI
Guard can I please have a phone
call, please.
GUARD
Im really sorry, but youre not
allowed phone calls.
ABI
Please, its really important, I
need to know if my friends okay.

GUARD
Okay, but it can only be quick and
it will be monitored.
ABI
Thats fine officer.
The guard unlocks the cell and lets ABI out.
INT. PRISON - EVENING - 2027

ABI is by dialling in the number for her mum. Shes feeling

really happy and anxious.
ABIS MUM
Hello?

ABI
Hi Mum.
ABIS MUM
ABI! I heard what happened on the
news. Are you okay?
ABI
Yes Im fine, I just need to know
is Christina okay?

ABIS MUM
Abi you know what happened to her,
shes dead. She died so many years
ago.

ABI is stunned, so many thoughts are going through her head.

She puts the phone down, but shes just in a shocked panic
state.
