Chiller

This is the font we used for our final cut of the film opening.
Pros: It is creepy and not a commonly used font. This represents the horror genre
and will make the viewer nervous or on edge when they see it. Along with music
playing in the background, it will portray our genre well
Cons: It could portray a stalker like tone instead of a murder like tone.
This is appropriate for our genre because it gives the mood and tone that is
necessary.

Mesquite std
Pros: It is captivating and confusing at the same time. Your eyes are immediately to
the center of the font.
Con: It is too western like for the specific tone we are trying to convey.
It is appropriate for our genre because it is entrancing and will give the viewer a
feeling of apprehension.

Mistral
Pros: It gives the viewer a feeling of uneasiness because it reminds people of
scribble writing associated with panic.
Cons: It is cursive and that hints to a more romantic tone.
It is appropriate for our genre because it adds a sense of mystery and invokes a
feeling of restlessness.
Bodoni MT Poster
Compressed
Pros: It is bold and will catch the eyes of the viewer immediately. Its skinny, thick,
tall, and narrow; making the letters seem stretched out.
Cons: It may be a little too compressed and it may not be visually pleasing to the
eye.
It is not as appropriate as the rest of the fonts because it gives off more of a poster
board like feel.

Colonna MT
Pros: It is unusual and attracts the viewers eyes instantly. It gives off a mysterious
and shadow like tone.
Con: It reminds the viewer of a more sci fi genre rather than the characteristics of a
horror like genre. It doesnt evoke feelings of fear.
It is not as appropriate as the rest of the fonts because it is more futuristic and
doesnt have the feelings a horror font would give you.
