Dear, Chancellor Harold L. Martin my name is Nafisa Shah and I am writing to
you today to tell you why I should be accepted to your school. I am going to be an
undergraduate student during the fall of 2018. I am currently a student at Hillside
High School in Durham, NC in the 11th grade, you can contact me on my email:

I am a great candidate for this school because I have always been a hard
worker and I am involved in the community. I have a 3.5 weighed GPA as a junior
and its only going to keep going up. I am also in a program called Partners for
Youth Opportunity which has taught me a lot about being able to save money, how
to properly dress in certain environments, and giving me internships during the
school year and summer. An internship that I have had is working at NC Mutual Life
insurance, what I did there was basically file and dispose confidential records. I
also, have had an internship with a local newspaper called The Durham Voice,
what I did there was write stories and take pictures about things going on in
Durham.
Overall, these are just a few reasons why I believe you should choose me as a
student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I hope you take
into consideration my experience I have had throughout High School. Thank you,
