I enrolled for my Ph.D

This report is to summarize the decision taken by the Doctoral Committee, meeting held on
29.07.2015 at 11 AM in the Department of Chemistry, Anna University Chennai. I am
supervised Convener Dr.I. Arul Aram an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry,
Anna University and my co examiner is Dr. Monsingh D Devadas, Professor and Dean ,School
of Architecture and Planning , Anna University.

I have presented the overview of the research work and the eminent Doctoral Committee has
approved the research topic as Evaluation of Sustainable living through green buildings among
people of Chennai . As per the suggestions of the Doctoral Committee I have chosen four
subjects with an elective being made compulsory, this will help my project to be more empirical.

The Doctoral committee members guided me for selecting my course work subjects, each subject
being diversified and effective in the research topic. The five course work subjects are
Principles of sustainable development from the Center of Environmental studies, Socio-
Economic and Spatial Aspects of Planning from Department of Planning, School of Architecture
and Planning, Environmental Planning , and the Doctoral Committee suggested a Special Elective
subject for more understanding of the research area which is Communication Strategies for Green
Building .

Currently for this semester I have taken two Coursework subjects and I also have worked on the syllabus
preparation for my Special Elective study with my Supervisor. I am also collecting information and
data for paper presentation on any my research topic in the near future.
