Math 1050 Projects Reflection

From this activity, I learned how to figure out the cost of gas and how much gas I
would need if I were to travel X miles.
I probably could apply this project to when I am taking a field trip somewhere this
summer, and I for some reason would like to calculate exactly how much gas and/or
how much it would cost if I were to travel a certain amount of miles towards a
location. This could also be applied to airplanes, if I ever wanted to find out how
much gas would cost and/or how much I would need to travel from Atlanta, Georgia
to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In this project, I used simple Algebraic expressions, rational equations, functions
and some graphing. These concepts reinforced my knowledge of them, so know I
have more experience on these types of problems and will likely not have any
difficulties doing similar problems in the future.
