Pedagogy Activity This IWB activity will serve as the introduction into this particular
unit of science class concerning magnets. It starts with a quick
overview about how magnets work and what they do. It is followed
by questions and activities.
The teacher will demonstrate how the IWB works and how you can
simply use your finger to more things around or select answers in
order for the students to understand how it works before they are
called up to the board to show their understanding of the materials.
During the slides that include questions and activities, students will
be called up to the board individually to show what they have
learned about magnets during this lesson.
The students will be taking notes during the lesson to be studied at
home in preparation for a quiz on the subject. Particularly on slide
9, which utilizes "reveal notes" where with a touch of the screen,
the individual notes appear and disappear, helping to focus on one
concept at a time and to encourage students to write their notes
faster as the notes disappear when it is time for the next concept to
be discussed.
