Dear Panel Members:

I would like to begin by thanking you all for spending your time here today, as well
as for your support and input throughout my presentation.

After attending this school for the last five years, I have finally taken a step back,
looking at how my time as a student at Tri City has shaped me. Growing up as a
homeschooler, Tri City was the first traditional schooling system that I have been
a part of, which created a major sense of culture shock in my first year or so of
being here.

In my four years at Tri City, I have done my best to be involved in as much as

possible. I have participated in four varsity sports; football, basketball, track, and
volleyball, serving as the captain for three of them, and personally amassing more
banners in our gym than any male athlete in school history.

Outside of sports, I have been the editor in chief of the yearbook for the last three
years, producing two 1st place winning books at the Del Mar Fair with my third book
still in the process.

Tri City has provided me with the opportunity to learn from teachers who have a
legitimate concern for their students, and they are the reason why this school is
worth attending. For example, I went through my first three years of high school
with a vendetta on English classes, but as I have gone through my senior British
Literature with Mrs. Palmer I have become much more interested in English, mainly
developing a passion for poetry.

The time that I have spent at Tri City is something which I will always cherish for the
memories I have made and how it has prepared me to continue my education. I
will be attending college at Cal Poly SLO this upcoming fall, where I will be majoring
in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Bioengineering. I hope to use my
education to work on mechatronic prosthetics for amputees, and eventually start
my own company working on more technologies this field.

Sincerely,

Matt Clark
