REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2009-273

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE LOADING/UNLOADING
ASSIGNMENTS OF SOME CITY LOOP PUJ'S IN SELECTED
LOADING/UNLOADING AREAS AS PROVIDED FOR UNDER
REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2007-199

WHEREAS, as per suggestion by the concerned PUJ's Association and the Traffic
Management and Engineering Unit, PNP supervisors, and as validated by the Traffic Technical
Working Group, there is a need to rearrange loading/unloading assignments of some city loop
PUJ's in order to better address some emerging problems observed in designated
loading/unloading areas.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Iloilo, that:

Section 1. - The designated loading/unloading area along Iznart Street starting before the
driveway of YMCA until Jamerlan Bldg., as provided for under Section 2, c, XI, shall be for
ALL PUJ's whose official route includes Iznart Street (F. Caram Avenue).

Section 2. - In the area fronting the Jaro Cathedral the first loading/unloading area
(before in Jalandoni until after the main entrance of the Jaro Cathedral) is FOR JARO-
MANDURRIAO and JARO-LIKO-NFA PUJ's.

In the area fronting the Jaro Cathedral the second loading/unloading area (before the
main entrance of Jaro Cathedral until the vicinity of DBP-Jaro) is FOR JARO-CPU and ITGSI-
UNGKA PUJ's.

Section 3. - In the area fronting Golden Finance Corporation (lznart), the

loading/unloading area for Jaro-Liko/Bo. Obrero/La Paz PUL's will start in front of Golden
Finance Corporation until the front oflGGY's BEAUTY SALOON.

Section 4. - In the area of Luna Street, La Paz WVSU side, the following are designated
loading/unloading areas:

a. After the junction with Mission Road, in the vicinity of Goodwill Bookstore and
WVSU Auditorium;
b. Between the entrance and exit ofWVSU;
c. Below the overpass until five (5) meters before the exit ofWVSU.

Section 5. -In the area of Luna Street INHS side:

a. Ten (10) meters before the exit of INHS until below the overpass.

Section 6. - All other provisions of Regulation Ordinance No. 2007-199 shall remain
enforceable and effective and shall apply to this ordinance.

Section 7. -This ordinance shall be effective upon approval and posting.
