family and develops and implements a teaching plan for the promotion, restoration, and maintenance of
health of the pediatric client and family. This project will be graded based on a grading rubric and will
account for 5% of the students grade. A peer evaluation of group participants will also be submitted by
each student and account for a portion of the individual grade.

teaching has occurred)

b. Create the teaching tool

c. Present the topic utilizing the learning tool to the target audience.

d. Evaluate learning (how do you know that the target audience met the learning outcome)
e. Do an oral presentation to clinical cohort on assigned date describing and evaluating the experience
and results.

f. Utilize a minimum of two current scientific references to support the development of the tool.
The group will submit a reference list using APA format.
