Charlie walked into math class every day ready to learn. He was attentive
and always eager to collaborate with his classmates. Most importantly he was
not afraid to ask for help when he needed it and often assisted his
classmates with their confusions. Despite the challenging content, he did not
give up and persevered through the course. Additionally, I always
appreciated Charlie never using athletics as an excuse for not completing his
assignments. I am thankful he took responsibility for his academics, but also
balanced a social and athletic life. I believe Charlie has valued his high school
education and understands the important of succeeding in academics at the
next level.
Without a doubt, Charlie has an exciting future ahead of him. I look forward
to hearing about his success as he moves to the collegiate level. He will be
missed in the halls of Western High School.
