Instruction After the introduction the class will begin a guided notes/practice on Mean
al covering the method of finding the mean from a data set.
Strategie The first point to make would be the definition of mean which is found by
s calculating the sum of all data given, divided by the number of data used in the set.

Closure Tomorrow will cover the second measure of center median. One
closing question will be to ask students what is an example of a
question about a measure of center that median is the best
representation of the data?
Students will talk in groups after being given the question, and
share out ideas before leaving class.
