1. Grade: 3rd
Standard Indicator: 3.RL.2.3 Describe characters in a story (e.g., their traits,
motivations, or feelings) and explain how their actions contribute to the plot.

Learning Objective: The student will be able to examine a characters actions


throughout the book, Charlottes Web, to determine if a lesson was learned
and then support their thinking with specific examples from the text that
correlate with others when sharing out loud.

2. Grade: 2nd
Standard Indicator: 2.1.4 Observe, sketch, demonstrate and compare how
objects can move in different ways (e.g., straight, zig-zag, back-and-forth,
rolling, fast and slow).
Learning Objective: The student will be able to construct a paper airplane and
see the length they travel based on force, gravity, etc. They will then journal
their results.

3. Grade: 1
Standard Indicator: 1.1.5 Identify people and events observed in national
celebrations and holidays.
Learning Objective: The student will be able to match a picture of the holiday
with a picture of the activity that corresponds with the holiday with 100%
accuracy.

4. Grade: Preschool
Standard Indicator: SS2.1 Recognize the sequence of events as part of a daily
routine and as it relates to the passage of time.

Learning Objective: The student will be able to classify which meals goes with
which time of the day by gluing pictures on a timeline in the order they go
and can explain correctly their timeline.

5. Grade: Preschool
Standard Indicator: SC2.2 Recognize seasonal and weather related changes.
Describe how weather changes.

Learning Objective: The student will be able to match and classify weather
related pictures into the four seasons by creating a collage out of magazine
pictures to cut and paste into each season category and present their collage
to the class without errors.
