This letter of recommendation is for Jessica Arteaga.

I have been teaching since 1998 at both the secondary and college levels and only on a
few occasions have I had the privilege of instructing a really gifted student. Jessica is
one of those students. She is a real joy to teach. Jessica has a real thirst for learning
and the desire to achieve.

I have had Jessica in my computer programming class which she performed with
distinction; always at the top of the class. Her academic efforts show me she has the
ability to think critically and understand complex issues both inside and outside of the
classroom. Jessica is a phenomenal problem solver.

As long have I have known Jessica, she has always been very focused and enthusiastic
about her career goals. As long as I have known her, she has been passionate about
helping students with special needs and her career goal as Developmental-Behavioral
Pediatrician.

I find her logic and thinking skills exceptional. I highly recommend Jessica to receive
the scholarship.
