Kristi, you did a great job of planning your lesson! Started with a simple review, had several layers of difficulty embedded into your lesson- great differentiation, fun wind up game! You were creative and added your own touch with different items for the grocery store and dice game! Well done!!!
- worked individually with students to name coins, used calculators to check answers, praised hand raising, gave group response to check to see if their answers were correct! - lowered your voice to get class to be quiet also -used humor to build fun, relationship building classroom Mr. Wiggle Man over there - excellent positive talkget your markers ready love those quiet hands try it again and see if you can get it right I heard a voice I didnt call on yet Whoohoo! All of you are correct! -Questions grew increasingly difficult as lesson went onadded three numbers at the end! -psyched out possible pitfalls ahead of time and warned students about them- this is a paper dicecareful not to crunch it too tight! - ended lesson with group wind up questionWhat is something you would like to eat from the pile of supplies?
