RE: Katelyn Craft

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to recommend to you Katelyn Craft. I have known Katelyn for five months in the
capacity as her United States Government and Economics instructor at Merced High School. In that
time I have known her to be very hardworking, determined, ambitious, and passionate.

Academically, Katelyn always stays on task and serious about her studies. She has maintained a 3.5
GPA while attending Merced High. Katelyn is very articulate and expresses her beliefs quite well.
Through Futures Farmers of America (FFA) she has participated in numerous speaking competitions.

As stated earlier, Katelyn has been involved in various activities while attending high school through her
involvement in FFA in which she has been active all four years in school. She has been involved in the
Vet Science judging team and the Dare to Care program as well. She has won various awards also
which include the Greenhand Degree, Chapter Leadership Award, and the State Degree Scholarship
Award. Katelyn has also participated in various community activities in school and out of school where
she has earned over 100 hours of community service.

Katelyn plans to attend a university and obtain her bachelors degree in animal science, after which she
hopes to become a veterinarian technician and eventually run her own clinic.

I am very proud to recommend to you Katelyn Craft. She is a fine student who has great potential in
life. I am sure she will continue to do well and someday achieve all the goals she has set for herself.
She is an outstanding young lady.
