Report on Incident at the School Canteen

On the 10th of April 2017, an unfortunate incident had happened during
the school recess at the school canteen. The Infamous Noodle Incident as the
students called it, involves two of form 5 students named Mei Mei, who was hit
by a mysterious ball and Raimi, whose arm was scalded by hot noodles.
The incident began with Mei Mei and Raimi went to the school canteen to
have their recess together. Mei Mei purchased a bowl of scorching hot noodles
when suddenly an unexpected ball coming out of nowhere hit her hand.
Consequently, the force of the ball had caused Mei Mei to accidentally throw the
bowl and landed on Raimi, who was queueing up behind her.
Because of that incident, Mei Mei wrist was twisted due to the impact of
the ball and as she tried to brace herself from the fall using the same hand.
Raimi on the other hand, had her left arm scalded from the scorching hot
noodles. The noodles had splattered her uniform and the bowl was broken
causing a mess on the canteen floor. Thankfully, the students moved away from
the scene, allowing us, Husain, Ezahera and me, the prefects on duty to handle
the situation.
Without further ado, Ezahera and me took Raimi to wash her arm and
clothes. However, Mei Mei wrist started to swollen and both of them seemed like
they were in excruciating pain. Because of that, we quickly took them to see the
teacher on duty, Madam Nik Narissa. Madam Nik commented that the injury
looked worrisome so she called the ambulance to have them sent to the hospital.
Later on, she informed the unfortunate incident to their respective parents.
Meanwhile, one of the prefect on duty, Husain, went to investigate where
the mysterious ball came from. The investigation revealed that the ball, or a
soccer ball to be specific came from a group of students who were playing soccer
on a small lane right next to the canteen. The students responsible for the
incident had come forward to plead guilty.
In conclusion, we hope the school will take necessary and suitable actions
towards the student. We also hope that from ordeal, students will stop playing
sports near the canteen as it can impose danger to us all. Thank you.
