Family Experience Liaison. With my impending graduation in July 2017, I am hoping to gain
experience and knowledge applicable to my Psychology and Human Development and Family
Science degrees, and I was thrilled to learn of this position through CHOAs career website.
Particularly my degree in Human Development and Family Sciences provides me with a holistic
background in the physical, social, and psychological development of people in all stages of life
all within the context of our family environment. This combined with my experience working
with older students and their families in recruitment, as well as young children and their families
in child care, makes me an excellent candidate for this position.

My experience at the Success and Advising Center has prepared me well for this position. While
working at the Student Success and Advising Center, I worked closely with the supervisor and
other recruitment team members in order to develop information sessions for prospective
university students and their families as well as develop new recruitment tools and plans.
Working at the Child Development Lab, I was able to establish connections with the children and
their families while working with the staff to create an appropriate curriculum and safe
environment for the children. In addition, I cultivated excellent communication and organization
skills that make me an exceptional candidate for the Family Experience Liaison.
