The testing facilitators legally have 45 days after an ARD to complete testing.
The testing facilitators have 30 calendar days to report and meet as a committee to discuss the

results of the testing.


If parents request testing the testing facilitators have 15 days to respond to testing.

If student was an adult then the FIE would be given to the student, if parents do not have legal

guardianship over them still.

Reflections:

The experience of going through an FIE was great. I appreciated that this assignment

provided me an insight to how to pull information from the FIE to help produce goals and

objectives for students. The Diagnostician/LSSP was very help in walking me through what each

section means and how the information from the tests help those who will be working with the

student. I felt that this assignment was a helpful activity that will better prepare me for ARDs to

come, as well as information I will need to look over for my students. Having a walkthough of an

FIE helped answer a lot of my questions of where to determine the key area of needs for

students, as well as how to best help me in the classroom. Overall, this assignment was very

useful and provided great information for me and future teaching career.
