    Appreciation essay

    I am A student at Merced High school. I was born on August 12 1999 and raised in Merced

    California for the majority of my life. My favorite sport is soccer but I enjoy playing video

    games at home as well and spending time with my friends . My favorite classes in school are

    science, and history, I'm currently not sure what I will do after High School because i'm torn

    between going to college or joining the military. Currently I've been admitted to UC merced but I

    am considering joining merced college because a lot of my friends are going there, and I would

    rather have fun in college and enjoy my life while I can.. The only thing holding me back from

    joining the military is the fact that I need to at least became a permanent resident. However,

    someone who deserves my appreciation for being there for the majority of my life when I needed

    them is my grandma. She was always there for me and was a huge influence on my life, to

    endure that I don't fail in school and do better than my family in terms of education. She will

    always have my appreciation, my mom as well for allowing me to be who I want to be in my

    life.
