Due to an unacceptable level of absenteeism and tardiness

among our Team Members, Management will be instituting a

formal Attendance Policy and Write-Up System effective
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. All Team Members must sign this
document by the end of their shifts to acknowledge that they
have read and understand the following policies:

Write-Ups- Team Members will receive Write-Ups on their records for

failing to comply with the policies listed below. If any Team Member
receives three Write-Ups within one calendar year, his/her
employment with Subway will be terminated.

Absences- Team Members will be allowed three Absences per

calendar year without penalty. These Absences include Call Outs for
any reason, including emergencies. After these three Absences have
been used, Team Members will receive a Write-Up on their records for
each subsequent Absence.

Tardies- Anyone arriving late for his/her shift will receive a Tardy. Two
Tardies are equal to one Absence. Any Team Member not on the line
and ready to work within five minutes of his/her scheduled shift will
be considered late. If a Team Member is not ready to work within the
five-minute grace period, he/she will receive a Tardy.

On Call- If a Team Member is scheduled as On Call, he/she must be

available to work any shift that day as needed. Failure to report for a
shift on an On Call day will result in an Absence.

Communication- All Team Members must have a reliable method of

communicating with Management. If Management is consistently
unable to reach a Team Member via his/her provided contact
information, it will result in a Write-Up.

Scheduling Requests- All scheduling requests must be received in

writing by Management the Sunday before the schedule is posted.

Call Outs- If a Team Member is unable to report for his/her shift,

he/she must notify Management as soon as possible so that a
coworker can be found to cover the shift. Team Members who fail to
give at least two hours notice may receive a Write-Up at the
Manager's discretion.

No Call/No Shows- Any Team Member who commits a No Call/No

Show, meaning that he/she fails to report for a shift without notifying
Management, can have his/her employment terminated immediately,
regardless of his/her number of Write-Ups.

Theft- Any Team Member found guilty of Theft in any form can have
his/her employment terminated immediately, regardless of his/her
number of Write-Ups.

Job Duties- Any Team Member who fails to adequately complete the
job duties and tasks required for his/her shift will receive a Write-Up.

Thank you for your cooperation as we institute these new

policies. With these accountability measures in effect, we hope
to create a better, more considerate work environment for all
Team Members. If you have any questions about the new
policies, please feel free to ask me.

Sincerely,

George Lee Sawyer
