WORLD BEEKEEPING AWARDS 2017
Regarding to the applications from the beekeeping world, a new category named PUBLICATIONS for books, journals, web page etc. has
been added to the World Beekeeping Awards 2017. Rules are announced on the web page.

API EXPO
We have a great interest to Api Expo, nearly %75 of the booths, 2927 sqm are reserved by 141 different companies, institutions,
associations!

MARKETING & PROMOTION

We continue marketing & promotion and weve participated in the 2017 North American Beekeeping Conference and Tradeshow in
Galveston, Texas, General Assembly of Balkan Federation of Apicultural Associations and International Pleven Beekeeping Exhibition in
Bulgaria, 3rd International Azerbaijan Beekeeping Conference in Baku, 9th State Beekeeping Fair of Serbia in Belgrade, 10th International
Honey Festival which has been organized in Blaj, Romania.

Well welcome any kind of information and invitation to the beekeeping events in your country.

LOCAL AUTHORITIES
We have members from Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs in the Local Organizing
Committee. These two ministeries are directly involved in our congress and also Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Governorship of Istanbul
and Metropolitan Municipality are strongly supporting the 45th Apimondia International Congress.

SECURITY
We know that there are some concerns about security in Istanbul. The area that we are going to organize Apimondia, named Congress
Valley. It is the most secure area in Istanbul and authorities have every possible security measure in that area. Many huge international
congresses are being organized in that area these days and well also organize Euroleague Basketball Final four and European National
Basketball Championship in Istanbul!
