Daily Writing Revisions

The three daily writings that I choose to revist and redo/add too were
daily writings #7 and #12 because I wasnt here and #18 because I didnt
write a lot that day.

Daily Writing #7 February 8th

In my past UWRT classes I did a presentation on Pernell Karl (P.K.) Subban of

the then Montreal Canadians. He has since been traded to the Nashville
Predators, another organization in the National Hockey League (NHL). I was
able to find a lot of information on this topic and was able to convey it in a
manner that intrigued my audience. Not many people know a lot or are
interested in Hockey therefore it was harder to get through to them but I was
able to keep them hooked throughout the presentation.

Five topic that I wouldve been interested in doing wouldve been the NHLs
newest expansion team, the Las Vegas Golden Knights, Volkswagen (which
we ended up doing), Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees historic
rivalry, Fraternity vs Non-Fraternity life comparison because I just joined Zeta
Beta Tau and hold a chair position as the Academic Chair of the fraternity. In
addition, the fifth topic I would be interested in doing would be something
along the lines of my favorite musical artist as of late, Nate Furenstein,
better known as NF.

Daily Writing #12 March 1st

To me, the quote from Neil Armstrong speaks to me. Armstrong quoted In
much of society, research means to investigate something you do not know
or understand. This speaks to me because I have an analytical mind and I
believe research is investigation in more of what we know to find out more.
We dont need to necessarily know nothing about the topic but know a little
bit or enough but are missing a piece or two. This creates a sense of curiosity
to research more, or to investigate the topic at hand. For example, Im a
hockey fan, so I could know that a certain player scored a certain amount of
goals in a certain season. As a result, I could research or investigate to
confirm the amount of goals scored by said player. In this scenario, I dont
know nothing about the topic, but am researching to cross reference and
check.

Daily Writing #18 March 29th

For me at the time, I didnt have a lot done for the E-portfolio however as I
started working on it, I had a lot more done for it than I had realized. I had all
the files organized to the point where all I had to do was just upload them
and plug them into the e-portfolio site that I had made. This relieved a lot of
stress that I had on completing the e-portfolio in a timely manner. I
mentioned a layout that I used from a previous UWRT class, which I ended up
using but added some different photos and updated some things that were
either out of date or no longer happening. I didnt realize how prepared I had
set myself for the E-Portfolio without even knowing.
