Professional Objective

My passion is to create an accepting classroom environment where my


students feel loved, cared for, and eager to learn. They will not only develop
academic understanding, but a sense of respect for others and self-
actualization for themselves.

Education:
Graduate of Willoughby South High School
Attends the University of Mount Union

Intervention Specialist K-12

Experience:
My experience working with special needs began in high school when I first started volunteering
as a coach for the Ohio Special Olympics at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. I
travel there every summer with the Cleveland Municipal School, Mary Bethune. Here I have
worked with young adults with mild/moderate disabilities as they participate in track & field
activities.

I have worked as a camp counselor for a camp called, Camp Sue Osborne - a summer day camp
for kids with with moderate/severe special needs.

I have observed a plethora of classrooms at all different levels including elementary, middle
school, and high school, as well as multiple handicap classrooms.
