4th Grade Teacher

For 4th grade writing, my TELPAS kiddos really need practice with spelling
grade level and below words, including correct verb tense through inflected
endings. (ed/ing) They also really need support with sentence structure.
Writing complete sentences and combined sentences, with capitalization and
punctuation. Thank you!

Hello,

You are receiving this email because you have a student (or students) who did not
make a years growth in TELPAS. You should have a brown LEP No Progress folder
with their information and suggested interventions.

I am conducting a needs assessment on what these children need in order to make

growth. As part of the interventions, I plan to create a program that will tailor to
their needs. Please provide any feedback that you feel would be beneficial on your
specific student(s).

My plan is to create a virtual classroom where the students will work on specific
skills based on their need. Right now I am just collecting information. In the near
future, I will be meeting with them and explaining what they will be working on.
