Dear Mr. Mckinstry

As a previous student of Merced High, and a experienced student helper/ mentor of the special
ed class, I am applying for the position of teacher aide for the special ed class. My past
experience and interaction with special needs students makes me a great candidate for this
position.

Providing a good and stress free environment for the kids while being fun yet helpful. With my
experience I am able to help out much more and do thing much easier and better than most.
Since working with special needs children tend to be much more different and difficult than other
people and with my experience I am more qualified to help them than other people.

Im going to continue my education in secondary school at the UC, and am planning on getting
my teaching credentials and bachelors degree in history, and possibly moving forward and
getting my masters degree. I plan on using my schooling to be a full time teacher at your
school, because I am committed to helping children.
